One of Robotnik’s Swatbots develops a mechanical plant called “Krudzu,” which has a liking for metal and water. Robotnik decides to use it to get rid of the Great Forest, the hiding place of the freedom fighters. Meanwhile in Knothole Antoine, decides to get Sally a bouquet of flowers in the hopes she will pay more attention to him. Unfortunately Antoine needs to a few more lessons in botany.

You Bet my Life!

Boomer (later re-named Rotor) discovers that Robotnik is making a big presentation in the Casino Night Zone! So Sonic decides to go along only to end up trapped by Robotnik’s latest invention: The Orbinaut!

Robotnik sends out his newest badnik, Coconuts, to take out Sonic and Tails, but the plan ends up in ruins so Robotnik retaliates by sending two more badniks – Scratch and Grounder!

A group of rings sends Sonic to a special zone where he meets Al and Cal, the guardians of the zone.

Sonic and Tails read some fan mail which speculate on how Tails came to have two Tails.

The Bomb Bugs Me

In a story that is anti nuclear, Sonic is informed by Boomer and Sally that Robotnik has “The Bomb.” So the freedom fighters decide to form a protest group to distract Robotnik while Boomer tricks Crabmeat into giving up the bomb.

Rabbot Deployment

Boomer and Sonic are sent to Southern Mobius to spy on Robotnik, where they find Swatbots roboticising a rabbit. Sonic spins to the rescue but she is half roboticised, and decides to come back to Knothole and join the freedom fighters.

Lizard of Odd

Robotnik decides to create the ultimate creature to destroy Sonic, by robotocising the next creature to to be captured which turns out to be a rather measly Salamander, but with a little help from Buzzbomber Robotnik gets his wish sort of.

Tails’ Little Tale

A continuation of the above story, while Sonic rests after defeating Robotniks latest creation (come on you knew he was going to win), Tails embarks on his first solo adventure! Meanwhile nearby, despite his recent failure, Robotnik is in the middle of a company picnic (I guess ha has to keep the robots moral up or something), and sends Buzzbomber and Orbinaut to take the two tailed fox down.

Boomer (Rotor) orders an Ant farm by mail-order not realising it’s from Robotnik who sends the freedom fighters a Termite-nator instead which starts to eat pretty much everything.

The Spin Doctor

Sonic leads an attack from the freedom fighters on Robotnik’s factory only to find Robotnik has relocated to MT. Mobius, an active volcano. The hedgehog decides to go it alone against Robotnik and faces off against a whole active volcano full of enemies and finds a few friends, in an adaptation of Sonic Spinball.

Sonic’s Christmas Carol

A re-enactment of Charles Dickens “A Christmas Carol,” with the Sonic cast, also features the first appearance of Snively (Robotnik’s nephew), and the first time Archie gets Rotor’s name right.

Uncle Chuck’s Treasure

Rotor has a go on Tail’s new see-saw with Tails ending up in the ceiling, where he finds a map to Uncle Chucks greatest treasure. The freedom fighters then set off in search of the treasure in the hopes it will be a way to stop Robotnik. The map leads them to a toxic waste dump where Robotnik attacks.

Sorceress in Distress

Sonic and friends dress up for there annual Fright Night Party, Sally decides to go as a sorceress but is still in need of a staff. Finding a stick in the great forest Sally decides to test it, amazingly it appears to work, but Robotnik witnesses this and has plans for this sorceress.

Sonic plays his guitar inspiring the freedom fighters to form a band, which of course doesn’t sit too well with there local polluter, Dr. Robotnik. Snively comes to his Uncles rescue with his latest invention a shrink ray!.
