Idiot Commenter is Idiot, because I really don’t see anything other then the ‘pushing development out for game-tweaking’ is big news. How is that big news? Its SOME news, but its not cracking the ground around me.
And Positive response? They had someone BAN talking about the game on their forum because it was literally tearing the community apart. Sonic fans I know OF are tearing their hair out just because of the eye color. Then the leak footage is released and one half of the community can’t agree to disagree on various tid-bits they did see. One guy even calls the current Sonic the Hedgehog an ‘Mutant Porcupine Stand In’ while the real Sonic’s on vacation, which many agree as well as disagree.
I’m staying neutral on the matter, I’ve always been about gameplay and story, but unless they’re saying gth or ‘okay we give in, his now pink…’ that wasn’t really big news, but just an announcement of postponement to a backwoods hillbilly like me.

Anyway, glad to hear the game is delayed to polish it up and make some redesigns. So happy to see Sonic Team and Dimps put so much care and effort into this game, I can’t remember a Sonic game getting delayed a whole half a year like this. This is the sort of thing Sonic ’06 needed, I’m just glad they’ve changed their developing strategy for what is looking to be a big moment in Sonic’s history 😀
