Sonic has been through a lot in the last few years, from beating Eggman, to having more support characters than you can shake a very big stick at, but through it all we have maintained our love for the blue blur, this video seems to sum up the events of the last nineteen years rather nicely.

I kinda like the Universe they were trying to create.
I dug the characters they were introducing…
…but I did not like the idea they were branching heavily from the other Universe already cemented into my brain, Satam Sonic the Hedgehog and not adding characters we all loved and despised. ._.

Has nobody every played a Mario, or a Final Fantasy game. Or maybe read a superhero comic, or Lord of the Rings?
Comparitavely Sonic really doesn’t have a ton of side characters. The problem is the dumb ones that seem to keep coming back in playable form. *cough* Silver *cough*
Chip was a great side character. He played a part in the plot, and now he’s gone. Just so long as they keep him gone, there is no problem.
Besides, think how boringly repetive the games would be if the only two characters were Sonic and Eggman…
