(X-posted from Sonic Wrecks)
While AAUK, Blakey and Echo are basking in the most exquisite company of the wonderful Ram the Dragon, naturally they’re not paying attention to who or what might be lurking in the dark depths of the Sonic Wrecks archives… And what better time for me to sneak on to the site and show you guys an awesome little something a talented community member has sculpted for your viewing pleasure? Take a gander at these beauties…
Scourge sculpt with WIP shots. Look at the detail!
Miles sculpt. That devious look...!
Way Past Cool of the SSMB messageboards recently posted these awesome sculptures up, and we were blown away by the level of detail and the sheer effort that went into these pieces. Check out Scourge’s devious smile and Miles’ cold, threatening expression – Not only are these sculpts expertly posed, they’ve captured the very essence of the characters they were crafted after.
When asked how they were made and how long they took to construct, Way Past Cool said the following…
“They’re sculpted in Super Sculpt Firm clay over a wire armature, painted up with Warhammer paints. Took about two weeks in total. Thanks for asking!”
Absolutely superb work, Way Past Cool – Your name could not be more fitting for your amazing talent!
If you’d like to see more of Way Past Cool’s work, their DA page has much more for you to gaze and marvel at… Linky!

I don’t know why I had Scourge on the brain as of late but this really adds to the desire of viewing LOL. How high are these off the ground? They look like a foot or more???

Hey! Thanks for the compliments! The sculpts aren’t quite that tall. The Scourge one stands about 8″ tall. ;D
