Sonic and SEGA Allstars Racing is the game a lot of Sonic fans have been waiting a long time for, over the years we’ve had Sonic Drift, Sonic Drift 2, Sonic R, Sonic Riders and Sonic Riders Zero Gravity. All of which have varied in quality from tolerable to terrible. Never has there been a game that did for Sonic what Mario Kart did for Mario, that is until now.
Okay, it didn’t take as long as I thought to 1000 point Sonic and SEGA Allstars racing, so I’m back to work on Emerald Coast and where better to start than with a bit of Sunday afternoon entertainment!
Today I’ve found a nice little animation by Thweatted (Deviant art account), featuring Sonic and Knuckles and the lyrics ‘Itch U Can’t Scratch’ by Junior Senior, now whilst I’m not the biggest fan of the music the animation is brilliant and well worth a watch.
Check out some of Thweatted’s other animations over at his youtube account.

Now I don’t pretend to be an expert on roller-coasters, far from it, my experience extends as far as visiting a few theme parks and hours of time wasted on Roller-coaster Tycon (the first one, all later versions are rubbish), however roller-coasters are one of my passions. Perhaps a passion I don’t indulge in as much as I should but if I did then I’d have no time to keep track of the goings on in the world of Sonic (it’s a full time job… on top of a full time job).
As you should have noticed by now, I go the opportunity to have a go on the new Sonic Spinball ride at Alton Towers over the weekend and so what follows are a few of my thoughts on the ride. (continue reading…)
It’s been another turbulent week for news relating to the upcoming SEGA and Sumo Digital racing game with more reveals and a few gafs along the way, once again I’ve decided to sum up what we know now.
