Hello everyone, I know I’ve been a little quiet on here of late but to be honest I haven’t felt the enthusiasm I used to to work on the site for a while and the feeling hasn’t really gone away, I may come back to things in a bit but for now expect my hiatus to continue.

In the meantime have some info on a launch event for Smash Brothers from HelenBaby happening in London this October, it’s Sonic related cause you know it features Sonic, anyway see below:

“In October 2013 it was confirmed that our favorite speedy blue mascot Sonic the Hedgehog would be making his second appearance in the Smash Bros franchise, being a playable character in both the 3DS and Wii U versions of the new Super Smash Bros. Being one of (if not the) biggest releases of the year for both consoles, there is no doubt that Nintendo console owning Sonic fans will be purchasing this hotly anticipated title by the bucket load.

To celebrate its release StreetPass London will be holding a launch event two days after its release. Taking place on Sunday the 5th October at the Royal Festival Hall, attendees can expect a fun-packed Smash Bros 3DS tournament, general knowledge quiz, and prizes a-plenty. Also present on the day will be the usual jovial banter, plus all your favorite games including Mario Kart 7, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate etc.

Being that I run both StreetPass London and the SonicLondon meet-up group I’m obviously keen to see Sega fans come along and represent our blue hero up in that space. Hopefully see you there!
