I know Emerald Coast has been quiet of late, but for good reason, all the staff have been busy with moving around and setting up which has left us little time to work on comics, however most of that is sorted now so we should be back to normal shortly, however this does not mean I have the next Just in Time ready yet… that will be next week… maybe.
It’s been a very, very, very, very busy week for Sonic Colours news wise… (I will update the screen shot/art gallery’s at some point I promise!) and the news isn’t over with yet!
And behold a brand new trailer showcasing game play with the laser, and drill power ups. This is shaping up to be the best Sonic game in a very long time… I really mean that.
We have a new trailer showing off the Casino themed level, which looks like it rips a lot out of the old Casino Nights zone, and I do mean a lot, but at the same time it looks like it adds a few bits and peace’s as well.
We now have three levels that have been officially unveiled, all of which borrow heavily from old level designs, I’m not saying that’s bad I’m just saying is it enough to interest the old fans? Or are people going to start of it as a remake of the classics? Add your thoughts in the comments section.
The day has finally arrived, Sonic Adventure the game that helped launch the last great SEGA console effort is back! I’ve been looking forward to this for a long time so while I wait for the game to download (12%) why not enjoy this brand new trailer SEGA have put to celebrate.
Feel the nostalgia. (16%- oh dear this could take a while)
More on the release from SEGA can be found over at the Sonic City Blog.
Now when do we get Crazy Taxi? (23% – hurry the f*** up!)
Ever since the new voice actor for Tails was announced I’ve been eagerly anticipating this latest interpretation of our favourite two tailed fox, and now we have it… well about half a second of it, but I take what I can get.
Tails voice can be heard explaining the drill wisp at the one minute mark, actually sounds very similar to the old one except a little older which is a good thing.
Oh and there a couple of other videos, hit the jump to watch.
Sonic Free Riders has been hard for me to get a real read on, I like the idea of the Kinect system where your whole body is essentially the controller, however I had hoped the Sonic Riders series had died after Zero Gravity. Yet here it is once again and to be honest I’m actually interested if they can get the control scheme right I think this could be a very entertaining game. Anyway there have been piles of videos floating around the net of people making a fool of themselves playing there game, no trailers though. Well this is about the best were gonna get for a while, the encoding isn’t great but you get the idea of what the game is about.
Music is nice as well, but is it worth forking out for the Kinect system and the game I’m not sure but I’ll probably end up doing it anyway. What about you guys? Comment below.
Rumours of a co-op multi-player mode for Sonic Colours have been going around for a while ever since Amazon posted a screenshot on it’s site suggesting this. Well the following video pretty much confirms it.
It appears that the multi-player option will take place in a surreal world rather than the actual in game levels, it’s an interesting direction to take and certainly seems to be more entertaining than the previous wii mini party games SEGAhave slapped onto the back of there games.
IGN has just revealed a brand new trailer for Sonic 4, showing off Lost Labyrinth in it’s decaying mine cart filled, ball rolling, water sliding, glory.
Looking very nice and snazzy, more from IGN on Lost Labyrinth including all important information on the level boss fight can be found here.
