There have been rumours of a Sonic game for Microsoft’s new motion control system flying around for a while now, well there not rumours any more, Sonic Free Riders will be coming to the Kinect system when it launches latter this year.
No screen shots or anything yet just the announcement so hopefully we will be seeing something from the E3 show floor in the next few days.
Okay rumours have been flying around about this for almost a year now, then the leaks started a few months back, but finally we have something official out of SEGA, and that is Sonic Adventure is coming to the XBLA and PSN this fall!
That’s not all though the game will feature enhanced visuals, surround sound and achievements! Also coming to the download networks is Crazy Taxi another marvellous game from the Dreamcast era which I spent many a night playing, and getting RSI in my thumb with.
I’ve been really looking forward to this announcement for a while now as it’s been years since I’ve played either of these games, and I really would love to play them again. With luck this will open the door to there sequels and other classic Dreamcast games re-appearing, come on Space Channel 5!
As some of you may have noticed the venue for Summer of Sonic 2010 was announced over the weekend as being The Pavilion in Shepherd’s Bush, but what does it look like on the inside? Well this video should help to answer your questions.
Okay this is a bit of a… surprise, seems Sonic has a new game on the way for the Wii and DS? I’m honestly surprised since SEGA have managed to keep this one under there hat nicely.
It looks like it’s going to be something similar to Sonic Unleashed with fast passed 2D and 3D gameplay with aliens called ‘Wisps’ giving power-ups to add a new dynamic to game play. I am intrigued SEGA may have created something worth plugging my Wii back in for.
Just a heads up to you guys looking to go to the Summer of Sonic convention on August 7th 2010, that the website is now open, there’s not much there right now, but I’m sure more will be going up very soon.
