I can’t help but agree with the sentiments expressed here.
Although I’d like to note I’m a Tails fan first therefore excluding me from the no working in pet shops rule, now if you’ll excuse me I have to pay homage to R.O.B. the Robot.
Sonic and SEGA Allstars racing got it’s first DLC pack yesterday, featuring Metal Sonic in what I can only described as some sort of flying machine. Also included is the rather expansive track Death Egg Zone: Egg Hangar along with a selection of music tracks. All this for only 560 Microsoft points (be warned there was some initial confusion as Micro$oft set it at 800MSP so make sure to check the price before you download it).
I managed to have a quick go with it last night and it was good fun, Metal Sonic seems to drive the same as Tails in his biplane and Egg Hanger is a very open large track with some challenging track designs.
PS3 users will not be getting this DLC until April 22nd.
Every so often I get asked, ‘Vger why doesn’t Emerald Coast have a forum?’ To answer this Emerald Coast did have a forum for about six months, it dies a slow horrible and painful death… in fire, but all that’s changing now, Emerald Coast is joining up with the Sonic Wrecks forum Entherial Online, so head on over thereto chat about the latest goings on here at Emerald Coast!

At times the Sonic community can have a really good sense of humour, and on April fools day this is especially true, so for those of you who missed the fun here’s a quick round up of the best pranks.
First off I’m happy to announce that Urtheart’s post yesterday about a ‘Classic’ mode in Sonic 4 is not true, although his sentiments are still true. As an up and coming Games Designer (looking for a job) I was invited by a SEGA rep to an early showcase of games to the other members of SEGA’s internal group in the hopes of making some communication links. As such I got to see (but not play) a few bits of Sonic 4.
As much as I hate Sonic 4 and all it stands for, I honestly wonder what the hell they are thinking when they actually cave into the idiotic fans demands.
Today marks the launch of Sonic Classics collection on the DS, bringing together the first four mega drive/Genesis Sonic games in one nice neat package, and to celebrate SEGA have posted a launch video whci hcan be seen below.
I’ve run out of things to say at to introduce these trailers… anyway… this is an official trailer for the DS edition of Allstars racing which looks pretty snappy, I’ll even venture that it looks better than Mario Kart DS!
Okay this is getting ridiculous, but it always does this close to release of Sonic games, videos and traillers pop up everywhere, and I do mean everywhere. This latest one is peaking out from behind the official Nintendo magazine and is, yes you guessed it wii game play footage, enjoy!
