Sonic music remixes are all over the place nowadays, some of them good as long as you know where to look, but something that seems fairly consistently good is guitar remixes of the classic mega drive tracks. There is something in there simple tunes that lends themselves well to the guitar, and today I’ve dug up two videos from Andy Gillion which demonstrate this pretty well, so sit back and relax listening to some awesome guitar work.

Part 2 after the jump.

Check out more of Andy Gillions work over on his youtube page.

I remember listening to Andy’s stuff a few months back, it’s seriously great stuff.

My highlights are Chemical Plant, Super Sonic (2), Flying Battery and…sod it, it’s all excellent!

The electric guitar is my favorite instrument so naturally I like these vids.
