Some of the more eagle eyed amongst you may have noticed a new link in the comics navigation section, called Dream to Nightmare, except it only went to the homepage, well it doesn’t go to the home page any more.
That’s right Emerald Coast has a brand new comic, and it’s not from Urtheart or myself, oh no, I hope you’ll join me in giving a very warm welcome to the newest member of the Emerald Coast team Nemain! *insert round of applause/fanfare here*
If this first comic is anything to go by then your all in for a real treat!
Well it seems my main staple update for a Monday has turned into official art pages, so well start with some Sonic Adventure 2 artwork, and then just for some spice shall we add some Knuckles the Echidna comics into the mix?
You know what I haven’t had added a new section to Emerald Coast for a while now, let me just fix that.
The official artwork section will hold all the artwork I have dug up over the years for anyone to look at/download. To get the ball rolling I’ve put up the Sonic Chronicles page, more should follow soon.
Oh and a big thanks goes out to AAUK of Sonic Wrecks (as if you didn’t know already) for helping me figure out why the devil I couldn’t get the gallery system working properly, stupid coding…
2011 will mark the 20th birthday of Sonic the Hedgehog, and me being the Sonic fan that I am I want to do something special to celebrate, now I have come up with an idea.
The idea is a simple one, create an online page a day calendar to celebrate 20 years of Sonic the Hedgehog. There is just one minor problem, I would never be able to create 365 individual drawings to represent each day of the year. This got me thinking there are a lot of Sonic fan artists, maybe they would like to contribute?
If your interested in this idea I’ve set up a page explaining what I hope to do and how you can contribute in more detail here.
It’s done! Issues 201 to 210 of Archie’s Sonic the Hedgehog have been added to the archive.
Two hundred and ten issues worth of synopsis archived to Emerald Coast… wow this took a longer than I thought. The question now is whatever should I do next?
Fortunately I already have something lined up, I’ve just got to put some spit an polish on it and it will be ready to go. For now you can take guesses at what it is in the comments section… I promise not to make notes.
Every so often I get asked, ‘Vger why doesn’t Emerald Coast have a forum?’ To answer this Emerald Coast did have a forum for about six months, it dies a slow horrible and painful death… in fire, but all that’s changing now, Emerald Coast is joining up with the Sonic Wrecks forum Entherial Online, so head on over thereto chat about the latest goings on here at Emerald Coast!
And before anyone asks, no this is not a late April fools joke.
