First at EC: Rumours have been going round for a while now of a new Sonic compilation with various ratings bodies classifying something called Sonic Classics Collection. Well SEGA have finally lifted the lid on there latest compilation confirming the rumours.
Quick Summary of details:
Sonic Classics collection will gather together four of the greatest Sonic games made, ie Sonic 1, 2, 3 and Knuckles from the Mega Drive/Genesis, especially optimised for the DS with a never seen before save feature (unless you count the xbox live version save feature), also included are extras to expand your knowledge of the franchise and a wealth of pictures and videos. To be released March 2010.
So we have yet another compilation coming our way? Lets hope its better than there attempt to port Sonic 1 to the GBA a few years back.Click here to see the release announcement on the Sonic City blog.

It seems Sonic and SEGA Allstars Racing has a new trailer, featuring a very halloween themed track, direct from a certain horror shooter, can’t wait to play it.

As you should all know, Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter games came out for the Wii and DS yesterday, and SEGA in there infinite wisdom put up a launch trailer for it… yes another one… this better be the last one my front page has been turning into an advert for youtube the last few weeks.
Okay time for me to disappear for the weekend, not to worry though through the magic of WordPress there will be a Sunday Afternoon Sonic tomorrow.
With the game hitting store shelve in Europe next Friday, SEGA has once again released another trailer to wet our apatites. This time its the boss fights which reveal several more characters from both universes that most likely will not be playable.
Okay it’s official, after about a month of teasing SEGA have revealed that Ryo from Shenmue (a rather underrated dreamcast game which really deserves a third instalment) is joining the roster of characters in Sonic and SEGA All-Stars racing. I honestly had my doubts about this character turning up in the game since he doesn’t seem to fit the styling of the game but I’m still open to the idea, have a look at him in action and decide for yourself.
SEGA don’t want to let up it seems, as they release yet another trailer for Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games, this time it covers the DS Dream Events.
Oh and while were on the subject of Sonic (alright I never really stray from that subject) check out the latest preview for the upcoming issue 205 of Sonic the hedgehog, absolutely awesome now all I have to do is wait another two weeks and one day… darn it…
Not a week goes by now without a new mario and sonic at the Olympic winter games trailer going up, this week we get to see some of the dream events for the Wii, including… well why don’t you watch the trailer and find out?
It’s Sunday again and it’s time to kill some time before work begins again tomorrow, so what do I have lined up? Well I’ve noticed recently its starting to get a bit cooler and this made me realise it will soon be time to wrap up warm and pray for snow so I don’t have to go to work… it never works though. This also brought to me the realisation that Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter games is just under a month away (October 16th UK release) and there have been a slew of new trailers recently to promote it, so why not gather them together in one place to kill some time and build a little anticipation for the upcoming game.
