Err yeah still no 300 yet I should have it sorted by next week though… I hope… I really do hope. To be fair though I have a really good excuse this week, as I spent my weekend at Bird con York where much train spotting, ghost walking, drinking and singing was done, in fact I have evidence of that last one which should distract you guys for the next week.

The 14th part of DtN: Vger’s dream is now up. In this installment we prepare for the final showdown between TSS and EC, but not before we find out how AAUK recovers from overdoses of silliness. Who’d have thought it?

The Sonic Riders series has baffled me, the first game was terrible and then they brought out Zero Gravity which was even worse at this point I honestly thought that someone at SEGA had woken up and smacked the person who came up with the idea round the head with a wet fish and then fired him, out of a cannon, into the sun. Alas this did not happen as we now have the third instalment of what I fear is turning into a continuing series, but this time there’s something different.
Free Riders is a exclusive launch title for the Kinect, the new motion sensing peripheral for the Xbox 360.
So does this new control system make the game any better than it’s predecessors or does it fall flat?
Sonic 4 was everything the fans asked for and yet somehow I didn’t like it.
Then there was Colours, a game aimed at the little kiddies, yet somehow this is the one title I’ve looked forward to, this first for a while in the Sonic series.
So considering I was the only EC crew member who hadn’t played it in advance did it live up to my expectations, rather critical as they are?
I have good news for those of you who have had ‘Free,’ the main theme for Sonic Free Riders, stuck in their head for the last few weeks, a soundtrack is on the way! Due December 8th the CD will include all the themes from the courses, the main theme ‘Free,’ and a Crush 40 version of ‘Free!’
Well I know I’m drooling already, of course there is the usual issue of it only being released in Japan but that’s never stopped me before.
For those of you who listened in to the recent EC Airwaves Cluster Show, with the whole staff of EC in one place (a rare achievement) we announced two competitions. One of which is the motivational poster competition, now I’m sure anyone who has been on the internet for more than five minutes is aware of what these are, if not here is an example of one I did a few years back.

Well launch day for Sonic Colours has finally rolled around and so far I have to say the game is awesome, so much so that even Urtheart likes it never mind completed… stupid job taking all my time… anyway to celebrate SEGA Europe has put up a snazzy trailer, have a watch below.
Apologies for the absent DtN last week. I’ve been far more busy than I thought with uni and travelling up north and lost track of time with my updating. This week sees a welcome (and sexual*) return to the saga with part 12, which is now live. 4 more to go!
* Note: The “sexual nipples” thing is based on a (somewhat) true story. A while ago, I was dared to try and make a comic out of it. This would be the result. I’m rather proud of managing to get it into the DtN plot!
Right I’ve not updated here recently, sorry about that I seem to busy a lot at the moment, currently it’s setting up a new computer that isn’t old and slow and has a graphics card so I can finally play TF2 how it’s meant to be played… hmm I sense my updates remaining infrequent. Then of course there’s the big Sonic game releases… three in fact this week! We have already had Sonic Free Riders for the Kinect yesterday and then we have Sonic Colours for the Wii and DS tomorrow, which brings me round nicely to today’s little update showing off the latest trailers for said games.
