Feel free to ask Jerry of Angry Fox, any question that comes to mind, from romance, trivia, video games to his immediate thoughts on your countries politics (has to be researchable on a major news website I can read and discern how he would react. I am a fat lazy American who slept through High School, meaning I know English…or the butchered form of it we call ‘American’.)! It will be present, uncensored (as in copeh-pasted word for word) under whatever ‘name’ you submitted. He will make every effort he can to answer (mostly because he has no choice in the matter) in his unique brand in being ‘helpful’. There is but one rule in asking him a question. One question per person, if you have more or the answer did not satisfy you in any way, then your gonna have to wait for someone else to ask a different question or another strip has gone by. If your questions are short enough and easily answered, he’ll go through the lot of them Rapid Fire Style.
Disclaimer, he is an a@#$%e. He doesn’t like humans. You have been warned. :V
Submit your questions to angeryfox[@]hotmail.com (without the brackets plz) under the heading of ‘Asking Jerry’. Make sure you send it without ATTACHMENTS or LINKS. I will not open email with attachments I did not ask for, or click links that I, again, did not ask for. I maybe a fat jolly blighter, but I be a tad paranoid.
If the question is short enough, and you have the Twitter, I be ValorB, just throw the question there, just make sure its mentioned at me or your talking to yourself.
And if your REALLY lazy, like me, just leave it in the comments below.
Have fun.
This week, I took a moment to review Sonic Free Riders on the Xbox 360.
You can catch a sample of the review here…
Having picked up the Kinect and subsequently Free Riders recently, I decided to give it a go and see how it felt. Generally, the game is very good, for something that was apparantly made within 6 months. But there are a few niggling issues that are very obvious.
The biggest of these being that while in the middle of a race, it can jump onto a pause menu, which then leads onto the frustration of losing your current in game pose while you either try to physically continue, or even verbally continue. Loosing your stance midgame is one of those highly crucial things that can make or break a race.
Other niggling items revolve around the innacuracy of the Kinect movements. The issues are more noticeable on bends in the actual raceways, as it doesn’t always pick up body bends for the game to notice. Although a player can adjust to these, and make further adjustments, it requires larger playing spaces, which is one of the Kinect’s general downfalls.
As usual, you can find the review in it’s entirety here at Radio SEGA
I thought I’d keep this weeks poll simple, which do you prefer, the Archie of Fleetway Sonic comic series? And for those of you who prefer neither then I’ve provided an option for you. What can I say I’ve got comics on the brain at the moment.
Now for last weeks poll results, right after the jump.
I’s been a week or two since the last chapter so I thought it might be an idea to put up the next part, as it certainly entertains, enjoy! Once again a massive shout out to Ian Robb for writing this awesomely epic yarn.
If you haven’t been living under a rock, The Sonic Show (found here) was hit and hit hard last week by a hacker for what looks to be no obvious reason other then whoever did it, could do it. Another words, a Griefer.
Though Jerry really can’t offers some thoughts on the Griefing Hackers in General, as well as a method of dealing with Griefers who would often brag to everyone that yeah, they did it…what can ‘we’ do about it?
So, as some of you know there was the first London meet post-SoS on the Sunday. What some of you aren’t aware of, is that there was a semi-private meet going on over the course of the entire weekend in Portsmouth.
Sonic music remixes are all over the place nowadays, some of them good as long as you know where to look, but something that seems fairly consistently good is guitar remixes of the classic mega drive tracks. There is something in there simple tunes that lends themselves well to the guitar, and today I’ve dug up two videos from Andy Gillion which demonstrate this pretty well, so sit back and relax listening to some awesome guitar work.
Okay, as part of the re-design I’ve decided to put in some polls, and I thought it might be an idea to do a poll to decide a small part of Emerald Coasts future. So the first EC poll is: What theme do you want to see next on EC?
Easy enough question but the options aren’t so clear, so choose away, polls close next Thursday and I will put together the next theme based on the results. to vote, go to the bottom of the sidebar.
Emerald Coast 6.4 is a Vger production 2005-2011. EC is powered by ground up Chao and pony's, the grey Chaos Emerald (aka the evil one), magic and Wordpress. Sonic and all related characters are copyright of SEGA and Sonic Team and are reproduced here without their permission. For best results this site should be viewed with Firefox, however other browsers are supported.
