There seems to be a disturbance in the Sonic community, more and more Sonic fans are falling under the influence of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic (that sub-title is very important it seems)… as this disease spreads it seems that even Emerald Coast is not immune to it’s effects thanks to a ShadowFox04 we now have a guest comic featuring our resident loon and what I’m reliably informed is the My Little Pony loon… Pinky, and it seems the result is cupcakes… yummy.
Today we are launching our free ‘reservation’ service for those that are travelling from far away and wish to secure a place at The Summer of Sonic convention.
Entry is free, but we want to ensure that everyone who intends to make plans to stay in London can do so without fear of losing a place inside the venue and missing out on the day’s activities. As such, please note that this is a goodwill service only and is not a means of obtaining proof of entry into the Summer of Sonic event.
You can apply for a reservation at this website. Fill in the form, and we will check it over and email you a card which will need to be exchanged at the door for entry. The reservation card alone is not guaranteed proof of entry – it only saves you a place inside the venue, and for four hours after the event’s opening time (between 9am – 1pm).
The Summer of Sonic staff reserve the right to deny you entry if necessary, and you must still read and understand the Terms and
Conditions of Entry on acceptance of entry on the day. The Terms and Conditions of Entry will be made available on the Summer of Sonic website ahead of the June 25th event date.
If you’re unable to get a reservation in time, don’t worry – we have taken extra measures to accommodate additional visitors in a pinch, so you may be able to get in on the day. Because we are expecting an overwhelming turnout, however, we highly recommend you apply for a reservation as soon as possible. If you need to add group or family members, you will need to apply each person separately.
We hope you are able to use this service to get peace of mind and secure your travel arrangements for the weekend! Let’s celebrate Sonic the Hedgehog’s 20th Anniversary together! See you on June 25th!

Friday for us UK lot is a bank holiday. Why? Because it’s a glorious day where our nations is able to celebrate a new married royal couple.
Well with Vger being Royalty himself, myself a Cornish lawless and not so patriotic pirate, and Nemain being on the run from an Aslymn, none of us are really going to pay attention to the Royal Wedding. As such there will another all day livestream from Urtheart’s Boombox Livestream starting from 11am UK time with myself as your host. We’ll try and get a few other peeps in for convo at certain points in the day but we’ll have a whole day of drawing and some gaming for you, along with a requesta festa full of music.
So just in case you get bored of the Royal Wedding… y’know just, tune in and we’ll do our best to entertain!
This is just something to bookmark the end of the Just in Time series, and to be honest express some of the feelings I’ve developed for it over the last year or so, it became a chore for me to do, so it’s at this point I decided it had to go. Now it’s gone, I do feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders and I can rest for a while.
But rest assured I’m not going to be resting for long, I have other projects in the pipeline, some very near to completion, so keep an eye on Emerald Coast for more news on them, oh and don’t forget to check out the amazing DtN!

The teaser trailer left the fans hungering for more info and today it’s been revealed that the trailer was for the brand new Sonic game Sonic Generations, the title rumoured throughout the fanbase over the last few months. SEGA officially announced the title on their blog today, along with a snazzy logo. Below is a new trailer featuring gameplay snippets… Full credit to IGN for this!
